Discipleship pathway

Nine Essentials for Knowing, Growing, and Going

How do you make disciples in a world moving faster than ever?

Before Jesus ascended, he gave his disciples final instructions. After three years of being discipled by him, they were told to GO and do the same:

“Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them...and teaching them to obey all that I’ve commanded.”

This call to make disciples — and to teach joyful obedience to Jesus — is for us too.

At RiverLakes, we believe that kind of obedience requires more than good intentions. It requires action. That’s why, as a church, we’re setting aside time throughout the year for discipleship seminars — as a strategic act of obedience.

Over the next three years, we’ll walk through nine key aspects of discipleship. You’ll be equipped to Know Christ, Grow in Christ, and Go for Christ — and empowered to make an impact for the Kingdom in your home, community, and world.
