Lay Counselor Training Course Begins September 14, 2025
Prepare to Care 2025 is open to all and is the first of three phases for those who contemplate becoming a biblical lay pastoral counselor. Whether in the home, with relatives, neighbors, friends or co-workers, your relationships will take on a new perspective as Pastor of Counseling, Dr. Brent Van Elswyk, provides basic training in people-helping skills.

Childcare available by prior arrangement only; $80 flat fee for first child or $150 per family for this entire term. No refunds after 9/2/25. Class is expected to fill fast. Prior registration required. Adults age 20-80. Space is limited. Attendance requirements apply. (Alumni may audit class anytime at a reduced fee.)
